San Diego and I have always had a love hate relationship.
Love the weather - hate the traffic
Love the beach - hate the cost of living
With our move just two days away I puase to think about all of the things I love.......
*our wonderful holidays in Joshua Tree* our first years of married life *My students and colleagues at LJCDS *Elivs and Fiesta Island* Spread *our little house in Pacfic Beach *16 wonderful months of JP memories *Girls Weekend at Big Bear *trips to Pasadena, Temecula, Julian, Mexico, and San Francisco
All that being said - I can't wait to start the next chapter in our lives!
*hiking and camping *new road trips *our first house * meeting new families and friends * taking JP to soccer/football/baseball/basketball/piano class/boy scouts - whichever he prefers *building snowmen and having snowball fights *stomping through the fall leaves * enjoying our own pool
Certainly there is a part of me that is sad to leave, but all of my past moves have shown me that new opportunities can be found only when searched for!
