Happy Holidays! A collegue recently reminded me about the true spirit of the season. We would all be better off if we took pause every so often to be thankful for the blessings, both big and small, in our lives. I'm thankful for my wonderful husband, caring family and friends, a great circle of "Playgroup Mom's", Netflix, a job I love, my "entertaining" students (both past and present), the drive-thru at Better Buzz Coffee , Elvis, Ernie, my education, my globetrotting, and of course my healthy, happy little boy. (Who is crawling at the speed of light, cruising along the furniture, and probably a couple of weeks from his first step)
These past few weeks have flown by for us. J.P. celebrated his first Halloween by dressing up as Yoda.

Of course Halloween wouldn't be the same without a trip to the pumpkin patch.

The best part of the holidays was spending time with Grandma and Grandpa Boyum. They came up to visit with us during our stay in St. Louis.
