"Change the World Lilith"

Andrew and I are proud to announce the birth of our daughter Lilith Marie Ball. Born Friday May 20th at 6:44am, weighing 8lbs 5oz and measuring 20.5 inches in length.

After spending three days in the hospital Lilith and I were discharged and were able to go home. Life at home is hectic, but we are very thankful to have the help of Grandma and Grandpa Boyum.

Lilith (a.k.a. Lil) is a wonderful baby. Over the course of the past week she has displayed a very mild nature, crying very little, and sleeping 4 hours at a time. Despite having a very girlish appearance she does have many of the same characteristics that her brother had at this age.
Speaking of James, he is transitioning into Big Brotherhood very well. He is eager to help when he can, and seems to like (if only tolerate) his little sister. He has changed so much in the past few months. His language development astounds us, and he is much more attentive for longer periods of time. He loves physical play including jumping off the sofa, wrestling with his Dad, or playing any number of sports. Though we certainly don't want our JP to grow up too fast we are looking forward to starting potty training this summer, and finally saying goodbye to the pacifier. Wish us luck!
